    Saya mo minta referensi neh mas, saya kan dah beli acer 4710 dan saya mo beli express card utk wireless.. kira2 yg mereknya bagus apa yah mas? Terus koq saya utk menyari hardware express card itu agak susah yah.. jadi saya mohon referensinya..

  3. are you using linux? its better to use USB wifi than express-card type.... you may use SMC, TP Link, or DLink.

    Mmmm.. so the best solution using usb WiFi. Do you know what is the best usb WiFi for hacking (can inject packet).

  5. mas cahya.. ato temen-2 yg laen, bisa dibantu untuk posting software Acer Empowering Technology dan temen-2 nya (ePower, ePresentation Management, dll), terutama yang khusus punya Acer 2920.
    Terus untuk memaksimalkan fitur Dolby Home Theater nya gimana yah? Apa ada software khusus bawaan Acer?

  8. Untuk Acer empowering win xp 2920 tidak tersedia.. adanya hanya untuk win vista. Untuk fitur dolby, silahkan install aplikasi sound card dari realtek yang terbaru.

  20. Mas Cahya tolong dong, nootbook saya 2920, tapi kok bluetoothnya ngga bisa berfungsi dgn baik. HP saya kan soner, dia punya kelebihan bisa jadi mouse pada saat presentasi, klu pake nb yg lain bisa, kenapa pake 2920 ngga berfungsi, saya lihat diproperties HID nya not required, kt teman saya driver bluetoothnya ngga lengkap. File bluetooth broadcom yg mas cahya kasih susah utk didownload. Tolong dong gimana caranya, mohon solusinya ya.

  25. I've installed all driver for aspire 2920 china XP that you give the download link, but my audio still don't work.

    When I checked audio hardware drivers in hardware manager, there is a CDROM driver. Is it the trouble maker? why is the CDROM driver located in audio harware driver.

    anyone can help me to solve this problem ?

    Hi Tubag, I have no idea about it...
    maybe that CDROM is the trouble maker... you may disable or uninstall the driver from Device Manager before installing Audio Driver..

  29. mas, minta tolong dong...saya mau nanya...saya pake acer 4530, trus pake xp sp2, tp instalasi program reason 4 ga bisa di xp sp2, soalnya crash ma driver vga nya, tp klo vga nya di-disable, bisa launch tuh reason...kenapa yah?..trus, klo namanya apa yah klo PCM CIA buat 4530, soalnya ga masuk pake PCM CIA itu, ga connect maksudnya...gimana cara ngakalin ada fire wire di 4530 ini ya mas..terima kasih

    Tapi mau tanya nih, bisa gak install Vista dan XP nya sekaligus, trus nanti pada saat boot, systemnya tanya mau boot dengan OS yang mana. Saya uda coba install XP pada partisi yang lain, tetapi Vistanya malah gak terdetect, mohon pencerahannya..

  31. mas, tolongin saya dong.. lapto saya 2920 dengan OS Windows XP SP2. Sebelumnya saya pernah install ulang laptop karena kena virus dan sekarang setelah diinstall ulang, realtek saya ga ada lagi, jadinya laptop ga punya suara. saya udah download dari realtek.tw, install dari cd yang dikasih tapi malah installation failure.

    jadinya bagaimana ya mas?

    PCM CIA pada Aspire 4530 sudah digantikan dengan Express Card....
    kalau ingin menggunakan PCM CIA silahkan gunakan adapter "USB to PCMCIA"

    if it still doesn't work, please reinstall bluetooth driver then reinstalling audio driver.

    or you may try to reinstall windows (please make sure that you use XP SP2), install chipset driver then audio driver...

    I have loaded your XP drivers & empowering software for my Aspire 2920 and it is working nicely thanks to your guidance.
    Recently I put some passwords for set up page bios(ie,HDD,user & supervisor)and my laptop was working nicely.Then again I removed same passwords.After that I found my PC is not booting.Then I changed the SATA selection from AHCI mode to IDE mode.Then the PC started booting without any problem.
    Now,can you help me to start my computer in AHCI mode again ?

    Have you turn on WiFi via quick launch button ? Download and install launch manager (Download) to make sure that WiFi is enabled...

    If your Acer is Centrino system...then the WiFi is Intel... if not a Centrino system.. then the WiFi must be Broadcom or Atheros.

    Since Empowering Technology is unavailable for Windows XP.. you may try Empowering Technology from another type (Download)... maybe you will have problem with eNet and eData.. (but i'm never use it because it consume a lot of RAM ;)

    ketika sesudah menginstall Windows XP dan Vista tidak ke-detect, masukkan DVD Vista, boot via DVD, then pilih repair > Repair Startup, nanti sesudah itu Vista akan bisa boot lagi. agar Windows XP juga tetap bisa boot, gunakan software Easy BCD (Download) untuk membuat dual boot dari Vista.. (nanti ketika boot akan keluar menu boot)

    ussualy, "without" driver, an Acer webcam will detected as USB Video Device in Device manager... try to uninstall or Roll back driver from Device Manager until Windows XP detect it as USB Video Device....

  62. hello, i am using an acer aspire 2920z. after reinstalling windows xp, it cannot detect any wireless internet anywhere. i tried installing atheros, intel and broadcom using the acer driver cd, but intel won't work.

    my device manager can detect my broadcom 802.11g hardware (with a small exclamation point picture), but any downloaded drivers does not work.

    what shall i do?

Hello!!!, if someone have problems with the drivers of Broadcom 4311 a/b/g Wireless Lan Driver, please uninstall all LAN driver first, and then download the drivers of HP Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver of this page: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3375995&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3375953&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1093 , then you must install the driver manually calling the file in C:\SWsetup\sp39243bcmwl5.inf ......

    but i have found some sound problems and event the wireless connection is cutting off several time...

    oh ya, saya baru aja beli acer aspire one d150, ini adalah laptop acer (walau ini netbook) saya yang ke 3.
    nah persoalannya,kenapa yah bluetoothnya gak bisa dipakai, kalau di klik aplikasinya bilang bahwa bluetooth not found, n kalau mau cari shortcut buat bluetooth nya juga gak ada.
    mohon pencerahannya bagi yang deh tau solusi tentang hal ini yah.
    padahal, di specs nya ada feature bluetooth tersebut. terimakasih

  91. hi! thanx for the drivers but now i have a question. the first time (about one year ago) i've installed win xp all was working fine. now i've re-installed windows xp, installed alla drivers but the bluetooth radio doesn't want to work, when i turn it on the driver says i don't have a valid licence.. can anyone help me?

  97. Rose it seems like many people have the same problem including me. Sitting here with my Aspire 2920z and can not get the right drivers for it. Tried all of the solutions in the list. I might have to go back to Vista.

  103. sir,thanks for the driver. I have one big problem after I installed all the driver for xp.My Aspire 2920z failed to install the AHCI Intel ICH8, I don't know why(but the error message said the item doesn't found in my labtop). Actually it doesn't matter for me, but now I've realized that the CPU fan doesn't running.
    In the bios I found that the fan sensor doesn't work(but the temperature monitor is working)...I've got 80 C for only about 3 hours work, I'm afraid the mobo gets burned. T.T

  107. My case, Audio not play sound. In Volume Control, click volume tab, sound tone and when wave, no sound. Play movie no sound.

    Device Manager : PCI Device unknown/other device
    Volume Control : Mixer Device - Bluetooth Hands-free Audio

    What drive i have to install for Audio & PCI ?

  109. mas cahya, saya mempunyai acer aspire 2920(china version),dengan win vista yg sdh terinstall,ketika saya akan mem format hard disk nya,di katakan tidak ada drive c nya (seperti belum di FDISK,alias tidak ada partisi nya),tetapi kalau saya restart,bisa masuk ke win vista dan hard disk terdeteksi,apakah harus memakai disket utk third party (pada waktu boot,klik F6) supaya hard disk nya terdeteksi ? kalau benar di mana say harus download nya. terima kasih sebelum nya

    I belong an Aspire 2920 which operates on Widows XP.Actually I got the windows XP drivers from you!.
    I have a small problem with my keyboard since I bought it from the shop two years back.While I typing suddenly it stops typing letters and I should click the curser to start tyiping again.I noticed it happens only with some programs such as WORD etc,.That didn't happen when I type this posting.Pls be kind enough to give me a solution for this.

  133. mas, saya pake acer aspire 2920z. akhir2 ini kalo nyalain laptop pasti macet pas mo masuk windows (saya pake windows xp starter pack 3). biasanya berhentinya pas logo windows xp dan ada bar-nya yg berjalan di bawahnya. terpaksa dimatikan dengan memencet dan menahan tombol power.
    nanti kalo udah bisa masuk ke windows, kadang laptop restart sendiri.
    ada yg memberitahu saya kalo laptop saya bermasalah dengan chipset-nya.
    mohon pencerahan dan bimbingannya, mas...........

    saya mau tanya nich saya memakai Aspire 2920Z (OS:XP+WLAN:Broadcom) n saya mencoba connect salah satu wifi dirmh tmn saya tapi kenapa tidak bisa masuk yaa wifi nya/tdk bs login n ada warning yg keluar (Windows was unable to find certificate to log you on to the network TP-Link)kenapa bisa begitu yaa krn saya coba connect dgn wifi yg lain+ada password nya juga tetapi bs connect n tolong bantuannya utk jln keluarnya ini??
