thanks wow this was the perfect place to download all the drivers, all my devices and recognized on my acer aspire 5920g , and the graphic sharing has gone down to 512 instead of 1535 ,

a question is there a way now to adjust the graphics sharing capacity for my laptop so iwill know how much to share ?

another thing i don't want the whole empowering technologies i just want the battery monitoring thingy , i remember there was a standalone version somewhere but i can't find a link .

i have windows XP installed although the laptop came with pre-installed Linpus Linux. There is an Acer Empowering Technology button on the right-top of my keyboard, but no drivers have come to use the function. please help how i can use this function.

Hi, I own a Acer Aspire 5920, and I converted it from Vista to Windows XP, and the only thing I am having trouble with, is the Touchpad driver. My touchpad middle mouse is not recognized, therefore It's as if it doesnt exist. I tried the driver you suggested here :
Touchpad Synaptics v9231C
Acer Aspire 5920 - 5920G
Windows XP Driver
The download comes close to completing, but says it could not be read. Every other driver I didn't have a problem with. Please help, thank you

when i try to download the zipped folder it does not load,,,why is that?? pls help...

please use "UPDATE 13" from that post.

that link contains two drivers... Touchpad ALPS and Synaptics... please install Synaptics

I am having a problem with my Acer Aspire 6930 touchpad in which the scroll does not respond. I also have issues when I'm typing and the cursor pops up at a different spot. Please help!

First of all ,congratulations for this wonderful blog, that solves problems to people like me.
I have a problem with my Acer 5920G and i hope you can help me...When I play the smallest game for a half an hour, the temperature goes to 80 degrees Celsius. If i play Call of Duty 4 or other games like that , the temperature of the CPU reaches 90 degrees , and the GPU goes to 80 degrees. I bought this laptop a half a year ago , but after 2 months i've already taken him to service based on warranty because the zone where the cooler is it started melting...
I have Acer Emp Tech installed on it but doesnt do any difference.
I have 3 programs for monitoring the heat and all of them says to me that the fans can not be 'read' ...
I'm disperate i've tried everything...
I've being Googling the solution but i cant find it anywhere.
I think that you can help me because you know so much about Acer laptops perhaps you know the solution...
Please help...

A great site, just downgraded from Vista to XP on my 5920 .
The eRecovery is not available to backup my installation.
What is the best way to get hold of it.
