hi..recently about the graphics driver on acer aspire 4937G, after i install the driver, i'm unable to adjust the brightness which i press Fn + left/right arrow. hopefully u can create a driver which can adjust the brightness.

all the driver that i search from acer website, nvidia website does not work.

hi.. sorry! the problem which aspire 4937G cannot adjust brightness problem already solved! i formatted n did a fresh install of win xp. so there is no issue with the driver.

so hopefully this helps those having the same problem.

Hi, I have a acer aspire 6530G laptop and have 'lost' the graphics/display adaptor and also the ethernet controller. This appears to have happened after a friend installed xp-pro on it and then upgraded to vista ultimate. Any help would be appreciated as i cannot connect to the internet nor play any games or anything that requires graphics.

Hi CraigDDG, download this boot patch (Download) then burn it to CD (you may use NERO).... then....

1. insert boot patch CD, boot from it...
2. Remove boot pacth CD, insert Win 7 DVD, press any key.... (I hope it your HDD will detected)
3. When Win 7 setup is going to reboot the first time, you need to use the same trick again... remove Win 7 DVD, insert boot patch and boot from it, remove boot patch CD, insert Win 7 DVD, and press any key....

I have an acer 4736z. im trying to install 64bit windows 7. during installation, the computer prompts "Windows Install could not load the CD/DVD drive that contains the installation media. Please provide the necessary drive or controller device drivers provided by your manufacturer."

I read your guide to install vista drivers for windows 7 but i was wondering whether the Crystal Eye Webcam driver and the touch sensitive buttons on above the keyboard drivers could be installed that way. I am currently downloading Windows 7 Ultimate AIO Activated from thepiratebay.org. There’s apear new 64bit Windows 7 drivers that worked fluently to my Aspire 5739G especially the launch manager witch now went to version 3.0.01 dated 2009/09/04 (just 3 days old).

I forgot to mention that this drivers appear only for Acer 7736g in acers web driver page and not in ftp.

With this all launch button worked great.

i hv an acer 5536g laptop
recently i installed win 7 in it...but there were some scaling problem with the ati driver..so i hv to play the game at full resolution, so it lead to heavy lagging in certain games...
now the actual problem is this....
i want to roll back to win xp...
bt when i install win xp sp3/SP2..the computer suddenly shuts down in the process of its setup only...(after copying the windows file to hard drive)
i hv turned the sata to ide moode..
this is always happening when i try 2 install xp....
but when i install win 7 no such problem occur....
what to do now ....pls help

Hi, just trying to get win 7 to install on a G7200, and am having a similar problem to above, keeps harping on about not being able to detect the cdrom drivers.. >.< Unforutantely, due to design, the systems stuck in IDE mode, and short of shifting the sata cable, i'm not exactly sure what to do!

hi cahya..i,m very need your help here..about 2 week after i bought my acer 4736z i cannot run dvd disc movie anymore.would you help me on this.how much it takes to change the graphic card for the middle spec gamming like 256mb or 512mb.actually i dont know anything when i buy this until when i try to play command and conquer 3.i hope someone will buy my 4736z...i realy want to buy the 'g'.it's got nvidia geforce 512mb inside so i can play CnC 4.plese help me.thanks

For Aspire 5570...
I think Windows 7 will automatically detect the devices and install driver for it....
don't worry to install Win 7 on your laptop...
just install it, then open device manager, most device will detected easily...
if any undetected device exist, use Aspire 5570 Vista driver, and please read this
